The Kulm Hotel St. Moritz and luxury skin brand Valmont have joined forces to offer unparalleled spa experiences in the heart of the Engadine resort in Switzerland.
Their new program includes ‘Escape to the Summit’ a unique treatment that specifically targets guests’ needs during their winter trip in the mountains.
From the 2,000 sqm Kulm Spa guests can look out over Lake St. Moritz and the Engadine Mountains and also make use of the indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool, various saunas and steam rooms, relaxation areas, treatment rooms and a high-tech gym with studio room for classes. There is also a private spa suite that can be hired for those who want more seclusion.
Fitting with the Kulm Spa’s ethos of providing Relaxation, Detox/Purification and Regeneration programs, Valmont prides itself on using cutting-edge Swiss R&D combined with pure ingredients sourced from Switzerland’s protected alpine regions.
Six of Valmont’s most acclaimed treatments are now being offered at the Kulm Spa. All four facials fight the signs of aging and/or specific skin conditions, such as a lack of hydration, loss of cell energy and first or deep wrinkles, while the two body treatments promote healthy toned skin using distinctive massage techniques.
The ‘Escape to the Summit’ treatment is only available at the Kulm Hotel and aims to revitalise the body, face and mind. The 75-minute treatment is specifically designed for guests while they are in the mountains. It works to sooth tensions and relieve any pain after a day on the slopes, as well as hydrate the skin following high altitude exposure to the sun and wind.
The treatment begins with a body massage, using the Body 24 Hour cream, which provides intense hydration while reducing any discomfort or tightness. After 30 minutes, attention switches to the face, which is deep cleansed, exfoliated and massaged with the celebrated Prime Renewing Pack.
Valmont’s unique Butterfly Movement is used to activate the skin’s microcirculation and promote lymphatic drainage. The skin is then hydrated and biologically lifted with the Regenerating Mask Treatment, a 100% pure and natural collagen mask that has outstanding regenerative properties. Lastly, products tailored to each guest’s own skin type are applied to provide the finishing touch.
