The Megève Mont-Blanc Cycling event rides into the French Alps this September.

The village of Megève in the French Alps is a ski (and snowboarder) lovers paradise. With over 400km of immaculately prepared runs, catering for all abilities, it is easy to see why visitors return to the medieval cobbled streets of Megève year after year.

The village hosts an impressive array of events each year, spanning countless sporting, cultural, music and family themed festivals. As Covid restrictions ease, many favourites are hoping to return this summer. Most notably, this year will be the Megève Mont-Blanc Cycling event on 11th & 12th September.

This truly impressive cycling event combines endurance, freedom and accessibility. The organisers are working with the cycling champion Nicolas Roux, who has devised four unique races, honouring the legendary passes of the Alps, ranging from a 60km route through to a challenging 165km course. The races cover the disciplines of Cyclosportive, Gravelbike and e-Biking, and cater to a whole host of abilities.

There will also be children’s races with a dedicated kids racing programme, consisting of a 400m course for five- and six-year-olds, all the way up to a 15km race for teenagers.

Registration is now open, with adult entries costing from €38 pp (£32.50 pp), and child entries costing just €10 pp (£8.50 pp).

For those who wish to enter the race and warm up their legs before the ski season, or for those who would prefer to sit and watch this exhausting sounding race, we’ve picked a great offer for you to take advantage of.
