SKI ODDITY

SWING HIGH: The Swingers Date Club (SDC) 3rd annual ski event is taking place in Obertauern in Austria from 6-11 December.

The blurb on the SDC website says: “This is your chance to party together with 250 of the hottest couples from around the world both on and off the slopes.

You will find hot sexy fun at this four star hotel in one of Austria’s most pristine ski areas.

This Austrian gem combines authentic charm with a full range of modern amenities, a world class spa, indoor heated swimming pool, steam rooms, sauna, night club, dark room, erotic cinema and an action packed playroom each and every night will keep you warm and steamy for sure!”

The organisers also promise stunning entertainment, sexy playrooms and endless nights of pure pleasure in a secure setting. We cater to both the curious and the experienced who will find erotic adventures ranging from relaxing to heart pumping!

PRESIDENTIAL SUITE: It appears no one wants to buy the former ski home belonging to President Gerald Ford in Beaver Creek, Colorado, which comes complete with secret service quarters and a presidential seal.

The current owners originally put the seven-bedroomed house on the market for $14.9m but have dropped the price to a mere $8.5m.

IT’S ELECTRIFYING: French ski area Serre Chevalier is to introduce electric car rental this season. A fleet of 40 Renault Twizy electric cars, which seats two people and is equipped with ski carrier and snow tyres can be hired for €20 a day or €60 a week.

BACK ON PISTE: Pakistan’s only international standard resort, which was destroyed by the Taliban is 2008, is set to be rebuilt.

The centre in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was originally built in 1988 but remained mothballed for a decade before finally being opened in the late 1990s.

SKI EGYPT: A new indoor snow centre for Egypt is under construction. The indoor slope will be part of a giant mall with some 400 shops, cinemas and more than 50 restaurants. It was expected to open in 2015, but the opening date has now been put back to 2016.
