The need for fashion companies to become more eco-friendly is generating plenty of headline news and Protest had already started doing its bit to help save the planet.

The company has found a way of taking used plastic bottles and recycling them into a polyester yarn that can be used to make skiwear.

This season Protest has used this process to produce a performance range made out of these recycled products. The Arram jacket (pictured right) is made from 40 recycled PET bottles and not only looks great, it is functional, and more importantly ultimately offer more sustainability.

Protest’s whole range for this season is very exciting. As well as keeping the elements from getting in, they also keep you bang on trend. There’s soft corduroy in dusky pinks, animal prints in colours to suit all, as well as Nordic, puffer and retro.

The Geotech range comes in 10,000mm of water proofing and 10,000grs of breathability.

The good thing is that you have absolutely nothing to worry about apart from which range to go for. Reach for the stars or the Polar Express? You’ll be snowed under with choice…
