With covid travel restrictions now easing, more couples, friends, and families will be looking to go away together. But what do you do when there is a split between those who do ski and snowboard and those who don’t? Courmayeur Mont Blanc, in the Italian Alps has come up with some exciting suggestions.

Snowshoeing
Courmayeur Mont Blanc offers several peaceful snowshoe walks, tailored to suit any ability and perfect for those looking to reconnect with nature.
Take a gentle scenic walks in Val Veny and Val Ferret or try some high altitude snowshoeing to the Toula glacier, or up the Mont Blanc. Expert alpine guides can accompany you and point out the local wildlife and places of interest on the way.
Those looking for a bit more of an adventure can enjoy walking tours of the local picturesque villages or even try out a nocturnal snowshoeing experience.

Fat Biking
Fat Bike cyclists can pedal through the flat alpine valley of Val Ferret and take in spectacular views of the Mont Blanc or Grandes Jorasses on a set of XXL wheels. Guided experiences are also available at night.
Ice Climbing
Courmayeur Mont Blanc boasts incredible ice waterfalls. Guides will train you how to safely ice-climb with ice axes and traction cleats alike.
For Families
Courmayeur Mont Blanc provides plenty of child-friendly activities. Families can enjoy the two Kids Winter Parks, both situated a few minutes from the centre of the resort – perfect for little ones taking their first steps on the snow.
Youngsters can also go bob sledging or snow tubing. They can burn off more steam by testing out ice climbing, ice skating, or visit the local fun parks which include train rides and educational farms.
Skyway Monte Bianco Experience
Views from the top of Skyline
A state-of-the-art cableway connecting the Italian Alps to the French, the Skyway Monte Bianco Experience transports visitors 3,466 metres above sea level. Four spherical cabins gently rotate to offer 360° panoramic views of the peaks and the summits of Valle d’Aosta, Cervino, Gran Paradiso, Monte Ros and Combin.
Skyway boasts a wide variety of experiences for everyone to enjoy including a historical museum, a sun terrace, mountain delicacies, wine tasting in the Cave Mont Blanc and a traditional bookshop. Skyway also plays host to exceptional events including ‘New Moon’ parties (Covid-permitting) and cinema screenings at the auditorium with 150 seats.
