The pandemic may have prevented British skiers and snowboarders travelling to America over the last couple of seasons, but Colorado is making quite a comeback according to recent reports.

Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) announced at its 60th Annual Meeting that skier visits to its 21 member ski resorts increased nearly 8% over last year’s total. Using publicly available information, CSCUSA has estimated a new statewide record of 14.8 million visits. The previous record for visits was set last year when the total was 13.8 million.

Colorado Ski Country USA President and CEO Melanie Mills said: “There’s a mountain for everyone in Colorado and our ski areas love to welcome one and all to our slopes.”
