London commuters were treated to an unusual scene this week, as British champion skier, Chemmy Alcott, was seen traversing the walkways of Waterloo Underground Station and the heights of IFS Cloud Cable car, kitted-up in skis and full winter sports gear.

The scenes marked the celebration of the inaugural London Snow Show, part of National Snow Week – one of the biggest snow sports events in the UK, taking place at the ExCeL on 21-22 October.

British Champion skier, Chemmy Alcott said: “I am thrilled to be appearing at National Snow Week’s inaugural London Snow Show this year. The London Snow Show will feature expert advice from the biggest and brightest stars in the UK snow sports scene, as well as the opportunity for a community of enthusiasts to shop the latest cutting-edge kit, or book their next winter holiday.
