The 2023 Banff Film Festival World Tour began its UK leg at the Brighton Dome on 1st February. The action-filled adventure films will be shown in over 50 locations in the UK and Ireland until autumn 2023.
The ski-themed films include Doo Star, joining Polish ski mountaineer Andrezej Bargiel as he skis down 6,000m peaks in the Karakorum Mountains, and Flow, starring Sam Favret who made the most of having the Chamonix region to himself during Lockdown.
As well as showing the short action films, each event features a free prize draw for outdoor goodies from the Tour’s partners.
Banff Tour films are chosen from hundreds of entries into The Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival, held every November in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. This year’s tour features two new collections of inspirational films from remote areas of the planet.
