Wild, authentic and genuine nature, rooted in an area rich of history and tradition at the foot of Europe’s second highest massif: Monterosa is a secret to discover.

Ayas and Gressoney Valleys, located in Aosta Valley region, and Valsesia, in Piedmont, form part a tourist area where you can discover the pleasure of a warm and authentic welcome, where noise and worldliness give way to quiet and authenticity, where to feel pampered, and where even the smallest detail is taken care of with great attention and passion.

From the charm of the hotels and maison d’hôtes in the villages, to the numerous restaurants, up to the huts on the glacier, hospitality in Monterosa is an authentic expression of traditional Italian style: from ‘historic’ hotels to new accommodations, the common thread is always great respect for local traditions and special attention to each guest, who becomes ‘a member of the family’. The food and wine offer is based on 0km products, with great attention to the choice of raw materials to ensure a high quality culinary experience that enhances the renowned flavours of the region.

Monterosa is an accessible and welcoming mountain waiting to be explored: trekking, mountaineering, mountain biking, but also water sports and paragliding in summer, as well as skiing and freeriding in winter, make it a suitable destination for those who want to experience the thrill of feeling part of the natural environment. The ‘active’ side is complemented by several opportunities to discover the area in all its aspects: many activities to bring children closer to the mountains, but also cultural activities and events to alternate with relaxing moments in wellness centres and spas in the various resorts.
