Need some help deciding where to go this season? – the future of your skiing and snowboarding could be written in the stars

The ever changing covid rules and regulations surrounding travel means that wintersports enthusiasts are all trying to see into the future so they can decide where and when they will be able to go skiing and snowboarding this season.

Crystal Ski Holidays has come up with a novel approach to try and help by teaming up with astrologer Russell Grant. He has produced an ‘Astro-Guide for the Mountains’, which he claims will enable skiers and snowboarders to use their Zodiac star signs to plan their return to the slopes.

Russell has shed some light on what could be in store when we can finally get back on the mountains, including what slopes they’ll be drawn to, what snowy activities they’ll enjoy and even which destinations they will truly fall in love with.

Here are Russell’s Horoscope predictions:

Russell said: “By combining planetary positions of the chart of a country and highlighting all the main planets plus ascending sign, this could then be matched with the signs of skiers and snowboarders.

“This means when booking a skiing holiday, travellers can discover places that will enhance a side of their character and bring out a completely different experience for them on-and-off the slopes.”

Chris Logan, Managing Director at Crystal Ski Holidays, added: “We want to get people back on the slopes as soon as possible, but travel is still uncertain. What is certain, however, is how keen people are to getaway to the snow so we wanted to give them some inspiration and a fun way to look forward to what the season might have in store.  Russell’s predictions are the perfect way to do that and as a Libra, I will certainly be looking for some beautiful views in the mountains this season!”

To give you even more of a helping hand, Crystal Ski Holidays has carefully selected resorts for each Zodiac, using Russell’s predictions and the Sun signs of countries:

  • If you’re an Aries looking for adventure and excitement in France, head to Val D’Isere for world-class skiing for all abilities, off the mountain activities and amazing après!
  • For a Taurus who wants to hit the slopes of Norway with their nearest and dearest, we recommend Trysil, the largest ski resort in Norway and perfect for mixed groups.
  • Geminis wanting to spice up their time on the slopes in Finland should head to Ruka, a total winter wonderland filled with snowy magic.
  • If you’re a Cancer looking for a cosy self-catered break with friends in Andorra, we recommend Pas de la Casa, a bustling resort offering loads of homely accommodation.
  • Leo looking for lively après in Austria? It’s got to be St Anton, legendary for its incredible party scene but also a beautiful resort with excellent skiing.
  • For a Virgo looking for more to offer than just the slopes in Austria, we think you’ll love the thermal spas of Bad Hofgastein.
