Luxury adventure ski specialist, Mabey Ski, which creates bespoke experiences to remote destinations, recently enjoyed a successful first women’s ski touring adventure to Iceland – but the season is not over yet for the British luxury adventure ski specialist

Commenting on its first Women’s Ski Touring trip to Iceland – and confirming the trip will run again from 10-17 April 2027 – Nickie Mabey said: “Our first women’s ski touring adventure to Iceland was a huge success.

“The women were extraordinary – they came for the skiing but threw themselves into everything Iceland had to offer, from horseback riding to cold plunges in the Arctic Ocean, hot tub dips and epic sea-to-summit climbs amongst wild landscapes. The trip was oversubscribed with a waitlist this year, and we’re already taking bookings for 2027.”

Meanwhile, Mabey Ski continues to offer ski touring and heli-ski trips in Iceland until the end of May 2026, as well as a Sail and Ski itinerary in Hornstrandir, Iceland with availability from 3-8 May.

The Hornstrandir nature reserve occupies the northernmost tip of Iceland’s Westfjords. Over six extraordinary days, ski tour from the deck of Örkin, a lovingly restored oak vessel that serves as the floating base camp.
