Ski Independence has unveiled five new chalets which will form part of their new ‘Private Collection’ this winter.
The chalets can be found in some of the most coveted resorts in France including Val d’Isère, Courchevel, Méribel and La Clusaz. If it takes more than an exclusive setting to seal the deal then perhaps you may be tempted by the outdoor hot tubs, home cinemas and massage rooms available in most of the chalets. In addition to this, a delightful range of bespoke add-ons is also available. These include a private chef, butler service, chauffeur, yoga instruction, grocery delivery and the list goes on!

A 5* budget ski holiday, surely that’s an oxymoron? Apparently not if tour operator Mountain Paradise has anything to do with it. They are a UK-based company operating solely in the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia and provide luxury ski getaways for the cost-conscious snow sports enthusiast.
Nassfeld is the largest resort in the Southern Austrian region of Carinthia, yet it remains relatively unknown to British holidaymakers.
Located close to the Italian and Slovenian borders, the ski area itself is surprisingly expansive and has everything we come to expect from a resort nowadays – terrain parks, a snow cross track, a half pipe and over 100km of pistes ranging from beginner nursery type slopes through to the ‘Carnia’, a piste that is over 7km long.
Val d’Isère is embarking on an ambitious €200m (£170m) building project to redevelop the centre of the world-famous resort.
The project is being called Le Coin de Val d’Isère and involves the demolition and reconstruction of a giant triangle in the heart of the resort.

This is for all departures to France and Austria on the 19 December 2017 and departures to Italy on the 23 December 2017, with prices starting from £2479 for a family of four (2 adults, 1 child 2-4 years & 1 infant).
Enter the Dragon’s Lair
Slovakian tour operator Jasna Adventures has launched a 2018 early bird offer for their brand new chalet, The Dragon’s Lair, at 2017 prices.
The new chalet offers exclusive accommodation for individuals, families and groups of up to 18 people.
Accommodation includes five guest rooms, all with en-suite, two family rooms, and two double/triple rooms, and a mezzanine room for up to four people, allowing for groups up to eighteen people to enjoy the chalet for themselves.
British Airways is launching two new ski routes for winter and has more flights available from Heathrow for under £40 than ever before.
The new Heathrow flights to Grenoble in France will depart on Saturdays from 2 December with fares starting from £39 each way. Skiers will also be able to reach the Italian slopes via Turin from just £40 each way.
It might be one of the hottest months of the year, but most of the talk was about skiing and snowboarding last week when representatives from the Savoie Mont Blanc area of France visited London to spread the word about new attractions in the their resorts for the coming season. Sitting comfortably on the stateline between California and Nevada, Heavenly Ski Resort offers skiers and boarders a unique opportunity to ski two US states in one day, on top of experiencing the lively, flashy casino atmosphere that Nevada is famous for.
