Arc 1950 – a jewel set in the heart of the mountains.

Arc 1950 Le Village, the most recent addition to the Haute-Tarentaise resorts, enchants its French and international visitors every season by offering access to the Paradiski slopes from a selection of colourful 5* ski-in-ski-out residences, together with a combination of high-end services, car-free streets, pretty shops, varied restaurants, and its exceptional entertainment programme. In the Village, nothing is more than a few steps from your residence, on foot or on skis. There are facilities and services to meet everyone’s needs, from the simplest to the most extravagant.

In each of the residences, there are swimming pools, Jacuzzis and fitness rooms where you can relax after skiing. For even more relaxation, the 1000m2 Deep Nature Arc 1950 Spa will help to revitalise visitors, from the most sporty to the most contemplative. With its themed grottos, counter current pool, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, nail bar and massage rooms with incredible views of Mont Blanc, wellness is a true ‘art of living’ in Arc 1950.

The Village offers a wide range of activities for visitors to the resort, with a different theme every week. Many of these are free activities, taking place in the resort throughout the season invariably accompanied by spectacular firework parties. From big air freeride event to pride week and mardi-gras there is something for everyone.

Electric scooters and electric mountain bikes are the new must-try activities in the Village.

The resort of Arc 1950 le Village is situated right in the heart of Paradiski, one of the world’s largest and most beautiful ski areas. The area was created by linking Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne, Paradiski combines quantity and quality.

It can now claim to be the second largest ski area on the planet with breath-taking panoramas and 425km of slopes. Ski and snowboard right back in to the village and to the doorstep of your chosen residence – or even to the doorways of most of the boutiques and cafes.

When you ski through the Village, your gaze is drawn towards the views of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille Rouge and the mountains of the Tarentaise valley. The slopes are wonderfully groomed and you can enjoy skiing from the top of the Aiguille Rouge at 3226m to Villaroger at 1200m.

A thrilling new zipline from the top of Varet gondola takes you over the ‘flying kilometre’ slope, created for the 1992 Albertville Olympics.

Situated just above Bourg St Maurice, Arc 1950 is accessible by train to Bourg. A connecting funicular, which has fabulous panoramic windows, arrives at 1600 where a shuttle bus takes guests to their destinations around the village.

The resort plans to be open until 1 May so there is plenty of time to book your holiday in Arc 1950.
