Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards and Skier & Snowboarder magazine team up – again!

One of the UK’s favourite sporting personalities, Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards is joining the Skier & Snowboarder team – again!

Eddie first wrote for the magazine nearly 30 years ago when he was signed up as a columnist by Editor Frank Baldwin after he found himself in the celebrity spotlight following his ski jumping exploits in the 1988 Calgary Olympics.

Since then he has rarely been out of the public eye. Eddie has been a pop star, a radio DJ, promoted numerous products in advertisements, and has appeared in celebrity TV programmes such as Splash and The Jump.

This year Eddie was propelled back into the limelight following the release of a Hollywood film, Eddie the Eagle, starring Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman, which told the story about his interesting and entertaining life.
