Patagonia has updated its PowSlayer Jacket (£600) this season with a more minimalist design and GORE-TEX PRO fabric featuring a fully recycled nylon face. This has made it more lightweight and packable. The fully featured shell delivers a high level of durable waterproof/breathable and windproof protection.
The Patagonia Powslayer Bibs (£500) have also been updated this season. The fully featured pants have a low-profile, full-coverage design which includes drop-seat adjustability, removable suspenders, a centre-front zip for easy relief and belt loops so you can drop the shoulder straps. Other details include articulated patterning through the hips and knees for full mobility, thigh vents for climate control, tough scuff guards, low-bulk gaiters with shock cord and five pockets (two thigh cargo, two midtorso and one back).
