English Indoor Moguls Championships lands at Snozone Castleford this weekend and entries open for Slopestyle and Ski/Snowboard Cross Championships

English Indoor Moguls Championships

The English Indoor Moguls Championships begin this weekend at their new home of Snozone in Castleford, with entries open until 18th May. Taking place on Saturday 20th May, the country’s best Mogul skiers will descend on Yorkshire to tackle the purpose-built moguls course and show off their impressive skills.

Just under a month later, on Saturday 17th June, the English Slopestyle Championships will take place at the same venue, where hundreds of young skiers and snowboarders will battle it out on the kickers and rails, looking to be crowned English Champion.

Then on Saturday 29th July 2017, the English Ski/Snowboard Cross Championships also take place at Snozone, Castleford, an event which always sees some heart-stopping racing across a big and talented field of young snowboarders and skiers

The three English Indoor Championships not only allow young athletes at the top of their sport to challenge for the English titles, they also provide an excellent foundation for skiers and snowboarders new to competition to gain event experience and progress their snowsports career. The move to Snozone, Castleford will also allow for some exciting changes to the competition formats, which should make the events even more exciting for the young athletes.

We are delighted that we are able to run an English Indoor Mogul Championships, and have the experts to build an impressive moguls course. We are then expecting big numbers of young competitors for both the Slopestyle and the Ski/Snowboard Cross Champs later in the spring.”
